How to Epoxy
The Process:
Step 1 - Prepping - Most epoxy installers will jump straight to the floor coating but the most important step is the prepping. You must first repair any cracks or pock marks you see on your concrete floor using a diamond grinder and fill in the cracks with epoxy crack filler. If preparing a basement floor make sure to remove all the stick from tiles and mastic glue off the basement floor.
Step 2 - Floor Coating - After your floor is prepped you are ready to apply the epoxy. For professional results that will last a lifetime Hardcore Epoxy Floors recommends using 100 percent based solids epoxy. We recommend for a few reasons.... there is no smell to the epoxy, durable and will last a life time. We also recommend using 100% solids clear coat it will have no-slip grit. There's also the benefit of having your concrete floor transformed into a beautiful looking granite counter top. As well as having a beautiful epoxy coated floor that can withstand a bus driving across it without the floor lifting up. Having Trouble viewing video?
